Dear John,
There are dangerous endorsements you should know about.
We may be under a “safer-at-home” order, but as of this moment the Spring General Election will still take place on April 7, 2020.
Your vote, and investment in our work now to assist others to vote by absentee ballot, could make all the difference!
Political endorsements speak volumes about a candidate’s values.
Our sister organization, Wisconsin Family Action PAC has endorsed Justice Daniel Kelly. Also endorsing Justice Kelly are Pro-Life Wisconsin, Wisconsin Right to Life, the National Rifle Association, the Wisconsin Realtors Association, Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin, WI Supreme Court Justice Brian Hagedorn, a bi-partisan majority of at least 44 Wisconsin sheriffs, and others.
In contrast, Judge Jill Karofsky is endorsed by Planned Parenthood of WI, our state’s leading provider of abortions.
Judge Jill Karofsky recently compared the decision to get an abortion to the decision to get one’s wisdom teeth removed. She has a political agenda she wants to bring to our highest court. And it is reported that Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin has spent about $64,925 in election efforts for her, so she can do just that.
Judge Karofsky is also endorsed by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), our nation’s largest and most aggressive advancer of the LGBTQ (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning) agenda.
Judge Jill Karofsky pledges to “protect the right to marriage equality” or in other words, same-sex marriage or any other kind of so-called “marriage.” The leading LGBTQ promoting organization, Human Rights Campaign, pledges they “will be devoting significant resources to turning out the 675,000 Equality Voters across the state of Wisconsin to ensure pro-equality leaders like Judge Karofsky are elected to office.”
In addition to these endorsements, Judge Jill Karofsky has been endorsed by Wisconsin AFL-CIO, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Joint Council 39, Wisconsin Education Association Council, US Senator Tammy Baldwin, Former Senator Russ Feingold, Former Governor Jim Doyle, many liberal Democrat legislators and others.
Our WFA team is hard at work. We are working remotely, reaching out to as many voters as possible with both education and mobilization efforts all across the state.
We need your help.
Due to how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting voting, our efforts and strategy are more important than ever.
We can’t do this alone.
We need Justice Daniel Kelly to remain on our Wisconsin Supreme Court, but that won’t happen without you and me doing everything we can to help him get elected.
The rulings a Wisconsin Supreme Court justice will participate in, regarding family matters, religious freedom in our state, parental rights, children’s safety, education issues, the unborn and more will affect us for decades to come.
The choice is clear.
The time is now.
Please do what you can today.
How to help:
- INVEST TODAY. Your investment today will help us educate & encourage citizens all around the state, to request applications to vote by absentee ballot. We must increase conservative voter turnout by mail for this critical April 7th election.
- VOTE BY MAIL! Request your absentee ballot to vote by mail HERE. Once you receive it, complete and sign it (provide photo ID) and mail or hand deliver it to your local clerk’s office. It must be received IN THEIR OFFICE by April 7.
- HELP OTHERS VOTE BY MAIL. Many voters may not know what to do or how to vote by mail. You can be an invaluable resource to many by helping them request an absentee ballot and helping them get it in the mail or delivered.
- PRAY – This is something we can, and should, always do for our elections, our country, and for all those in public office. Collectively, our prayers and our actions do make a difference!
Talk is swirling about if the election will happen on April 7 and if it does, how it does. No matter what the final decision is, the election will happen at some point. So we must make provisions to vote today! We should not wait.
We cannot afford to put this off, wait and see what will happen, and then for any number of reasons miss our opportunity to cast our ballot for Justice Daniel Kelly.
Again, the single best way to make your voice for your values heard is to request an absentee ballot today. You can do that HERE. May we be found faithful to do our duty as citizens to pray and to vote. Whether the election happens on April 7th, or whether it is postponed, the important work of our state’s highest court is worthy of our best efforts.
For our families and our future,
Julaine K. Appling
President
