Republicans: States like Indiana and Idaho have implemented bans on gender-affirming care for minors, and Republican AGs like Todd Rokita are celebrating dangerous legislation meant to control patients’ bodies as a victory.
Democrats: 21 Democratic AGs have come together to form a coalition to block Idaho’s controversial anti-trans legislation. They know that restricting gender-affirming care puts the physical and mental health of trans youth in danger.
Democratic AGs are determined to protect, uphold, and advance the rights of every American — no matter how you identify. Every person deserves to live their life as their true and authentic self, which is why ensuring that we have state attorneys general willing to defend the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals is so important.
