From day one, we have been lucky to have some pretty amazing partners. From shelters to public defenders, social workers to government agencies, our work would not be possible without the incredible organizations with whom we work on the ground, train, fund, or some combination of the three. In fact, our partnership operations are the fastest growing sector of our organization. So, we thought, why not introduce you to some of the wonderful people with whom we get to work every day?
We begin with Kay Ussin of Mission Rebirth in New Orleans. Kay got in touch with me about four years ago, when she had just started Mission Rebirth with the goal of providing wraparound services to formerly incarcerated citizens and those with great need in New Orleans. I jumped at the chance to fund the documents and IDs that her clients need, and after four years Kay is one of our favorite people and partners.
