Dear John,

OLCV’s Endorsements for the 2024 primary election are officially out! You can find all of our endorsements by clicking here [[link removed]]. If you’re unsure which district you are in, make sure you check here [[link removed]] before the May primary so you’re ready to vote!

We’re excited to endorse Dan Rayfield as he runs for Attorney General. Dan has earned an OLCV lifetime score of 95%, and is motivated to run for Attorney General to hold polluters accountable when they spoil our air and drinking water.

We would also like to highlight another one of our endorsements, Khanh Pham for Senate District 23. Khanh has championed several environmental bills including 100% Clean Energy for All - HB 2021 in 2021, which has Oregon committed to 100% clean electricity by 2040. She has been a strong leader and advocate on climate issues, earning her an OLCV lifetime score of 100%.

Another one of our endorsements is Anthony Broadman for Senate District 27. During his time as a Bend City Councilor, he has been a strong champion for safer alternative transportation options throughout the city and smart wildfire policy. We look forward to working with him in the State Senate!

For those in Deschutes County, we are happy to endorse the re-election of Phil Chang for Deschutes County Commissioner. Phil has been a longtime conservation advocate and he’s continued to champion conservation, wildfire prevention, and drought resilience policy as a Deschutes County Commissioner. If you live in Deschutes County, make sure you vote for Phil this May!

As I’m sure you already know, the weeks leading up to the election are crucial. This is when we will need your support if these pro-environment candidates are going to be elected, and we see the change that we want for climate. Will you join us? You can help by signing up to volunteer with us [[link removed]]. But most importantly, before this May’s primary, make sure you are registered to vote. [[link removed]]

Looking forward to May!
Britney VanCitters
Political & Organizing Director, OLCV

P.S.: A big thank you to all the OLCV volunteer leaders who helped with our candidate interviews so far!
