Latin America Liberty Forum is underway here in San José. There’s a buzz at this year’s program unlike anything we’ve seen before.

The 2024 Latin America Liberty Forum is underway here in San José, Costa Rica!

We’re ready for a jam-packed two days of coaching and pitch competitions, culminating with a celebration of the most impactful policy wins in Latin America over the past year.

Attendees are here from every corner of the region, including Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Chile.

To really give you a sense of the impact we make each year at this event, I want to share with you the story of Libera Bolivia, and how their organization grew with the help of Atlas Network.

When Jorge Velarde Rosso founded Libera Bolivia in 2011, all he had was himself and a goal to educate young Bolivians about free market economics.

When he won his first Atlas Network grant in 2016, he used it to purchase a projector so that he could visit Bolivian schools and teach economics in-person.

He gave five years’ worth of workshops using that projector.

After attending Latin America Liberty Forum and enrolling his team in Atlas Network Academy training courses, Jorge’s organization (now with ten staff members) celebrates having taught over 6,000 young Bolivians about economics and free enterprise.

This year, new startup organizations are attending Latin America Liberty Forum, and Atlas Network has the opportunity to support their visions for expanding freedom throughout the region.

This is exactly why Atlas Network launched an end-of-quarter fundraising drive coinciding with the 2024 Latin America Liberty Forum. ([link removed])
