Blue Wave Bash, Biden Lowering Costs, Call to Action

View this email in your browser ([link removed])
Good morning Democrats,

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated and volunteered for our highly successful Blue Wave Bash fundraiser on Saturday, March 16. The event drew a large turnout, with enthusiastic Democrats filling the venue. Attendees enjoyed an evening of delicious cuisine, fine wine, camaraderie, and shared values, as well as the opportunity to hear from former Congressman David Jolly. Jolly's address served as the centerpiece of the event, captivating the audience with his insights and vision for the future. Additionally, the evening included a silent auction, offering attendees the chance to bid on a variety of items generously donated by local businesses and supporters. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable gathering that energized our Democratic base and raised vital funds for future initiatives.

Biden Lowering Costs

President Joe Biden is laser focused on lowering costs for hardworking Americans and recently announced ([link removed]) the launched of a Strike Force on Unfair and Illegal Pricing. The Strike Force will work to strengthen efforts to root out and stop illegal corporate behavior that hikes prices on American families through anti-competitive, unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent business practices. Not only will this help everyday Americans by taking action to end corporate rip-offs and other unfair practices that keep prices high, it is also incredibly popular!

President Biden knows that from Pensacola to the Keys, Floridians work hard and they deserve to know that they will have the breathing room they need to pay the bills and provide a better life for themselves and their families. By cracking down on corporations price-gouging consumers, eliminating junk fees that pad corporate bottom lines but drain out bank accounts, taking on Big Pharma to reduce the cost of our prescriptions, and canceling student loan debt for millions of Americans, President Biden is putting workers and seniors first to cut costs for all of us. That’s how we grow the economy from the middle-out, not through the failed trickle-down policies Republicans have been pushing for decades that only benefit the wealthy and well-connected.

Time to UPDATE Your VBM Request
Voting by mail enhances voter turnout by simplifying the process, reducing barriers, and providing ample time for thoughtful decision-making. Nearly 25% of Indian River Democrats have already requesting their mail-in ballots, surpassing the statewide average of 19%. But there's still room for improvement to ensure broader participation. By voting through mail, individuals can exercise their civic duty with flexibility for those with busy schedules. To ensure your participation in the upcoming elections, make sure your Vote-By-Mail ballot request is up to date by visiting [link removed] ([link removed]*F) to request your mail-in ballot
