My job as president of EMILY's List is to elect pro-choice Democratic women like Dana Balter to office. I'm reaching out today to let you know why her race to flip NY-24 is so critical -- and to ask for your support before her first End-of-Quarter deadline of 2020.

Her opponent, Rep. John Katko, has voted multiple times to defund Planned Parenthood. He's voted against the Equal Rights Amendment and against closing the gender pay gap. He's welcomed fundraising help from the staunchly anti-choice Mike Pence. And he's embraced Donald Trump, whose words and actions towards women are despicable.

This district rejected Trump in 2016, and now that John Katko has shown his true colors, we have an excellent chance of flipping this seat in 2020.
