Dear John,
As my campaign team prepares for our first ever "Freedom Fighters Tour" next week with MAGA Congressman Matt Gaetz, former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and other conservative friends from the House Freedom Caucus, my opponent was in Northern Virginia last night with a gathering of DC's leading RINOS.
By now, you have probably seen the news stories about former Speaker Kevin McCarthy's "revenge tour." ([link removed]) McCarthy has pledged to spend millions of dollars against me and other conservatives. Now, Kevin McCarthy's buddies are hosting a fundraiser at a mansion in McLean for my opponent and asking for contributions of up to $10,000.
As you can see, the co-hosts include Congresswoman Jen Kiggans from Virginia Beach. If you remember, Kiggans helped defeat Jim Jordan in his bid to become Speaker by voting against him on the House floor last fall.
McGuire and Kiggans will be joined by Mike Rogers, the Chair of the Armed Services Committee who recently attacked Speaker Johnson for "not spending enough on Ukraine." This verbal attack is nothing new for Chairman Rogers. In January 2023, he had to be retrained ([link removed]) from a physical assault against Matt Gaetz on the Floor of the House.
My opponent is having this fundraiser in the SWAMP, because he knows YOU would not welcome this parade of RINOs in our district.
If you want to know what kind of Congressman John McGuire might be, just look closer at who he is surrounding himself with. The six members supporting him tonight have an average score of 67% with Heritage Action for America -- a leading conservative voice in Washington. If you were giving them a letter grade, it would be a "D" for well below average on their records.

This same group of RINOs has teamed up with the self described moderate Main Street Partnership which last week pledged to spend ([link removed]) $500,000 to try and take me out. The Main Street Partnership boasts among its members, Senator Susan Collins, former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, and Congresswoman Kiggans.
My opponent called me a "great conservative" ([link removed]) last year when looking for my support, he later described himself a " Youngkin Republican" while auditioning for the Governor's endorsement in his run for State Senate. In fact, McGuire did not endorse President Trump until just after his State Senate race was over in November. Not coincidentally, it was when he decided to challenge me.
Now John McGuire expects us to believe he is the "MAGA candidate" because he took a photo with Trump at a rally. All the while, he is being funded by McCarthy controlled super pacs, K Street lobbyists, California special interests and being supported by RINOs at a swamp fundraiser.
We know John McGuire will do or say anything to get elected, but actions speak louder than words. He is surrounding himself with Members of Congress who claim to be conservatives when they campaign, but vote with the Democrats in Washington far too often. Who do you think he would listen to if he were in Congress?
