John -- When I wrote last, I thought we were on track, but since then donations have slowed considerably. Since today is the filing deadline, my campaign is required to file a public fundraising report. I’m worried we will fall short of our goal.

I don’t know how else to put this, but this is not the time for fundraising to stall. With all public events cancelled, it’s more important than ever for us to have an effective digital outreach plan in place to reach voters. If I can’t raise another $980 today, I may need a backup plan that scales back our outreach efforts.

Every day, I’m trying to take the inspiration I felt while serving alongside Congressman Denny Heck and turn it into a campaign that he -- and you -- can be proud of. A grassroots campaign that puts the tough issues front and center: the climate emergency, our housing crisis, and universal access to affordable healthcare.

If you are able, would you consider chipping in whatever you can right now to help get this campaign back on track? If you can, here is the link: [link removed]

Thank you -- I’m counting on you.

Phil
