John,
Long Island has been hit incredibly hard, John, by COVID-19. As a campaign, we
previously notified you of Lee’s decision to cancel our regular end-of-month
re-election campaign fundraising and other campaign-related events. Lee
suspended his normal schedule and is focused around the clock right now on
assisting our local small businesses and local families, hospitals and state
and local governments that are in the middle of this crisis.
John, Lee knows that we’re only going to get through this as Americans working
together. Usually, we’d ask you to help out with our campaign fundraising as
March comes to a close. Instead, Lee has canceled that plan for this end of
month and end of quarter push, and we’re asking you to help local charitable
organizations.
