This November, our most fundamental freedoms are on the ballot.
The freedom to choose.
The freedom to access the ballot box without voter suppression or interference.
The freedom for our children to be safe at school and in our communities.
We can protect those freedoms by continuing our work to build a solid foundation for the next generation. But our progress is at risk with Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump going all-in to flip New Mexico and the Senate red.
Mitch McConnell and his allies will be looking at our quarterly FEC fundraising report in a matter of weeks to see if their strategy to recruit a multimillionaire hedge fund executive to challenge me is paying off. You can bet Donald Trump will be paying attention, too, after he declared he could flip New Mexico.
