2X match offer for you: Make your annual gift now. ([link removed])
World Water Day is coming up soon—but we simply can’t wait. Not when birds like Common Loons are struggling to find the clean, safe water they need to survive. Not when they face threats from botulism in the Great Lakes region, ongoing oil spills, and climate change-fueled extreme weather events. And not when they, like two-thirds of North American bird species, are at increasing risk of extinction from the climate crisis.
With more than a century of conservation expertise under our wing, we know what it takes to protect the birds we love. And with your support today, we can. Start your annual donation right away while, thanks to a group of generous donors, your first gift will be matched, up to $30,000. ([link removed])

At a time when we’ve already lost 3 billion birds in the past 50 years, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Fortunately, our advocacy for birds is powerful and effective as we keep sustainable water management at the forefront of our work:
* Alongside partners in Connecticut, we restored 34 acres of salt marsh and other important coastal habitat at Great Meadows marsh.
* Alongside partners in South Chicago, we restored more than 100 acres of wetlands, creating improved habitats for birds, fish and other wildlife to thrive.
* At Bombay Beach on the shore of California's Salton Sea, we're working to support various wetlands habitats, protect nearby residents through dust suppression and water optimization, and support recreational public access.

Climate change, water fluctuations, and pollution remain serious threats to their survival.

Will you be the friend birds need in honor of World Water Day? When you start your annual donation today, your first gift will be matched, up to $30,000. ([link removed])
