I am writing to invite you to my office’s Participatory Budgeting Project Exposition at the Sonia Sotomayor Community Center on Wednesday, March 27th at 6 PM to learn more about the exciting projects that will be on this year’s ballot. Join us as we gear up for Participatory Budgeting Vote Week and help by decorating ballot boxes, speaking with our budget delegates, and learning when and where you can cast your ballot!

I also want to take this opportunity to share information about the Summer Rising program. New York City offers a free, fun, and safe summer program for students K-8 called Summer Rising. I have personally seen the opportunities this program has for kids to participate in, including engaging sports and arts programs, right here in Council District 18.
