It’s official: The first member of the Trump team is now serving jail time for his role in the January 6th, 2021 insurrection.

Peter Navarro, a former advisor under Trump's administration — who was charged with contempt of Congress — showed up for his prison sentence yesterday.

While this is good news for holding MAGA accountable, it comes literally three years after January 6. Friend, there is much more justice to be done in the name of accountability for that dark day in our democracy.

All of this happened just days after Trump continued to praise the January 6 insurrectionists at one of his rallies. He’s not only vowed to pardon all of those who stormed the Capitol that day, but he’s promised to go after those who led prosecution against himself and his other cronies.
