With your help, folks, we did it! I’m officially the Democratic nominee in IL-06.

There are a lot of folks who’ve worked together to make this possible, but first and foremost I want to thank this grassroots team.

You’ve been by my side for these past six years, been so generous with your time and contributions, and truly unwavering in your support. It’s meant so much to me, my family, and the whole Casten for Congress crew. We can’t thank you enough.

And now, as we turn to the general election, we must remind ourselves what is at stake.

I’m running for re-election to defend women’s reproductive rights, protect American democracy, end gun violence, restore decency in politics, fight for workers and consumers, and combat the climate crisis.

Folks across the 6th District share these values. I’m confident that – as they have time and again – voters will side with decency, humanity, science, and democracy. But the far-right forces who want to flip this seat won’t make that easy.
