Famine is now imminent in northern Gaza.
The Gaza Strip is the most dangerous place in the world to be a child. 1.7 million people are internally displaced — half of them children. With catastrophic rates of food insecurity, parents are skipping meals so their children can eat. Families do not have enough access to water, fuel or medicine.
As children's lives hang in the balance, UNICEF is doing everything possible to help — but we need your support to strengthen the response. Help deliver vital emergency relief with your gift today >> |
Children in Gaza are caught in a nightmare that worsens with every passing day.
That's why your support is powerful and needed as UNICEF responds to the escalating humanitarian crisis. In the midst of the ongoing blockade, UNICEF continues to push for increased access to deliver more humanitarian aid, pre-position supplies in neighboring countries and call for an immediate ceasefire to end children’s suffering.
Since last October, our community has helped UNICEF and partners:
-
Move more than 540 trucks carrying critical relief like therapeutic food, water, vaccines, medical resources, hygiene kits, and other essentials into Gaza
-
Provide safe drinking water to over 1.3 million people each week
-
Distribute humanitarian cash transfers to over 500,000 people in the Gaza Strip
With famine now imminent, we must do more — please help UNICEF scale up the delivery of emergency supplies in Gaza >> |
Thank you for your action and compassion,
