A special guest will be walking through Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School this Saturday.

Dear friends,

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you – this Saturday, Vice President Kamala Harris will be visiting Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in the wake of the recent opening of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention.

This visit underscores the administration's commitment to addressing the critical issue of gun violence and supporting communities affected by tragic events like the one here in Parkland, FL.

During her visit, Vice President Harris will meet with families who, like mine, tragically lost a loved one during the devastating school massacre in 2018. She will also tour the school building itself, which carries deep symbolism in our collective fight for school safety.

As a parent who has endured the unimaginable loss caused by gun violence, I cannot overstate the importance of Vice President Harris's visit. She oversees the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention and her presence underscores the bipartisan efforts of Congress to enact the biggest piece of school safety legislation in history – the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Will you donate $25 today to ensure we can continue supporting more legislation that builds a safer future for our schools and communities?

BUILD A SAFER FUTURE

Her visit reaffirms our shared mission to ensure that no other community experiences the heartache and loss that we have endured.

Although these walkthroughs are painful, they are necessary for our elected officials to understand school safety measures firsthand.

We couldn’t have gotten to where we are today without your contributions and support. The fight to keep our families and communities safe from firearm violence continues. Please consider sending in a donation today to help us keep this crucial work going >>
