What does National Universal Pharmacare mean for Canadians?

No one will have to choose between taking their medication and paying their rent or their grocery bill.

Over 9 million Canadians will have access to free contraception and have control over their reproductive health.

3.7 million Canadians living with diabetes will have access to the life-saving prescription drugs and treatment they depend on.

4.
National Universal Pharmacare will save our economy billions of dollars and save lives.

Our Liberal Pharmacare Plan is a major step forward for our public health care system. It guarantees that all Canadians – no matter where they live, or how much they make – will have access to essential, life-saving medication.

But Pierre Poilievre doesn’t have a plan to help the more than 12.5 million Canadians who will benefit from our Pharmacare plan – and when journalists asked if he’d dismantle our plan, he ran away. Instead, he’s focused on cuts and rolling back our progress.
