Let’s be clear:

There’s been a lot of bad news for Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans. The polls are looking better than ever for Democrats in previously unthinkable races, putting deep-red states into play, and McConnell has had to cut big checks to try to defend his majority.

But we also want to be very honest with you — there’s still a lot of time before November. And every month (or even every day!), so much is changing in these races that we need to be prepared for anything. Starting right now.

Our major End-of-Quarter deadline is tonight at midnight. We’re going to take a hard look at the numbers for the first three months of the year and base important projections off the data in order to make decisions about what’s possible for this team in the coming months.

We know this is a challenging time for all, so please only donate if you can. But if you’re able, consider making a donation to VoteVets — of any amount — tonight before midnight. Any little bit helps fight back against Mitch and his mega-donor machine, and this is a really important deadline for our team.

You may already know that we set ambitious fundraising goals every month. What you may not know is that this year, our average donation is just $21.11. That’s a good thing — it shows that we’re truly powered by passionate supporters who are fighting for veterans and military families the way they fought for us.

But because our average is just above $20, it also means we need more people to chip in if we want to keep up and stay competitive with Mitch McConnell’s plan to hold on to his power over our country.
