CTV is traveling the state to ALERT parents about proposed legislation that could change our excellent Homeschool Law and require the registration/regulation of all homeschoolers in Michigan. This proposed legislation would also affect private schools and other Christian education programs. Stay informed and prepare to defend your right to educate your children!

You'll get to hear from several leaders in the Michigan homeschool movement, including acclaimed author and speaker Israel Wayne from MICHN, CTV's President Eileen McNeil, Rep. Jaime Greene and Kathryn Bussard with Salt and Light Global. You’ll also have the chance to meet several legislators from the area.

UPDATE: Surrogacy Bills Pass Senate & House

Dear Friends,

Currently, Michigan only allows for altruistic surrogacy (where no payment is exchanged), but new legislation would legalize paid contracted surrogacy and remove important regulations preventing abuse and human trafficking.

Unfortunately, this bill package we warned you about last Thursday has passed both the House and the Senate. It's expected to be signed into law.

Even in defeat, we want to thank you for making your voices heard in this matter. It's important to show resistance to these destructive policies. We'll keep you updated if anything new comes to light.

Ireland Rejects Leftist Constitutional Amendments Targeting Family and Motherhood — Washington Stand

See this article from the Washington Stand about a win for women and children in Ireland. Earlier this month, two proposals were struck down by Irish voters. They would have redefined marriage and motherhood if passed. 67% and 74% of voters disapproved of them, respectively. This is a significant victory for the preservation of traditional values!
