Jill just won THREE Green Party
Primaries! Late last night, the Arizona Green Party announced that
Jill received 73% of the votes in their primary and Maine held
caucuses which Jill won (delegate totals are still being tallied).
Just the day before, the Illinois
Green Party announced she won 84% of the votes or 16 delegates. She
has now won six Green Party primaries: California, Kansas,
Pennsylvania, Illinois, Maine and Arizona, bringing her total delegate
count to 92. Jill only needs 211 to win; she is
nearly halfway to being the Green Party nominee!
Our campaign is gaining momentum at
a historic time. Voters are wanting an alternative
to the parties of war and Wall Street, and the Green Party is that
option. Supporting and
uplifting the Green Party has always been a priority for Jill, and
will continue to be so. We are incredibly grateful for the work that
local party organizations, like the Arizona, Maine and Illinois Green
Party, do in their communities. Jill has a special message regarding
building the party for everybody reading this email:
"Thank you so much for all you’ve done to bring us to this
breakthrough moment. The need for deep change has never been more
urgent, and the possibility of that change has never loomed so large -
as people rise up to demand an end to endless war and genocide;
justice in the workplace; an end to student debt; defense of mother
earth and democracy, and political transformation to make this
possible. As the vehicle for this transformation, we Greens
are on track to be the only pro-worker, anti-genocide, climate action
campaign on the ballot across the country.
Thankfully, the bulk of ballot access work is already
behind us, thanks to state Green Parties across the
country. But
difficult, costly battles remain and we urgently need your help. With
your support, we will complete our ballot access across the country,
lead the challenge to empire and oligarchy, and demand an America and
a world that works for all of us. Together we are
unstoppable!"
