Folks, I’m going to get right to the point here.
The chairman of the Colorado Republican Party has called for an all-out ban on abortion in our state. He’s baselessly claimed the 2020 elections were fraudulent, even here in Colorado, where we have one of the safest and most secure election systems in the country. He’s even appeared in a video with self-described white nationalists.
So if we lose this race — and the CO GOP would like nothing better than to defeat me this November — it’ll likely be to a MAGA extremist handpicked by a party that has reached new and embarrassing heights of extremism over the last year.
That wouldn’t be bad just for Colorado — it would put Democrats’ work to protect abortion rights and defend our democracy at risk all across the country.
While Colorado Republicans are staging shameful political stunts like kicking reporters out of school board forums , I’m putting Colorado families and Colorado communities first in everything I do. Will you chip in today to help support this mission?

Look, I understand just how important it is for our government to work for everyone.
Growing up, my family didn’t have a lot. I waited tables and worked every odd job to support myself and pay for college. But because of the public investments made in me, I was able to become the first person in my family to graduate from high school and college.
