We know this is a difficult time for many and we hope you and your loved ones are staying safe.
As our teamscontinue torespond to urgent humanitarian needs around the world during the coronavirus pandemic, we’re also following public health recommendations here at home. That’s why Doctors Without Borders USA made the difficult, but necessary, decision two weeks ago to cancel in-person fundraising to do our part to help stem the spread of the pandemic.
Without face-to-face fundraising, it will be extremely difficult to reach our goal of recruiting nearly 4,700 new monthly donors in March—and our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is tonight.
Monthly donors are critical to our global coronavirus response because they provide the ongoing support we need to do our work. Our teams are responding to the coronavirus pandemic right now in Italy, France, Hong Kong, Greece, Belgium, and Spain, and we’re preparing our existing projects in many more countries to meet the coming challenges posed by the pandemic.
