Submit your intentions Three Holy Masses, 7 Sorrows of the BVM,
March 20-22
Dear Friend,
Today, we begin our meditation and
prayers on the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which will
be: (1) the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple by Mary and Joseph,
(2) the Flight into Egypt and (3) the Loss of Jesus for Three Days.
Interestingly, St. Joseph is with Mary in these first three
sorrows.
Here are the Day
One prayers. If you haven’t had a chance to submit
your intentions or would like to update them, for the Three Holy Masses, from March
20-22, including the Traditional Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the
Blessed Virgin Mary, please do so now.
Here are three of the promises Our
Lady gave to St. Bridget of Sweden to those who meditate and pray on
the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary:
“I will grant peace to their
families."
“They will be enlightened about the
divine Mysteries."
“I will console them in their pains
and will accompany them in their work."
More promises will be included in
Days 2 and 3.
Together, let us storm heaven to
ask Our Sorrowful Mother, who is called “hope for the troubled” to
intercede for all our needs, our suffering brothers and sisters around
the world and most especially that Cardinal Burke may receive an
abundance of grace.
Yours in the Sorrowful and
Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Thomas McKenna
