My name is Taylor, and I’m the Campaign Manager for Kathy Ellis’s campaign for Congress. I’m reaching out to say thank you for your support and to tell you a little about what we can accomplish together.

Since the beginning, this campaign has been about bringing folks - from all across the country - together to fight for working families in rural Missouri. For too long, our rural communities have been ignored and exploited, often by the same companies that bankroll elected officials’ campaigns in the region. I saw this as a kid growing up in rural Kentucky, and I’ve seen it in the last few years of organizing in Missouri’s 8th District.

We have a chance to change this in November. Kathy is running a campaign focused on protecting working families - fighting for healthcare for all, strong public schools for our kids, and a protected environment for our families to enjoy. And we’re making progress: 14 packed town halls focused on kitchen-table issues, thousands of miles travelled in the District, and supporters from states all across the country.

This is a challenging time for us all as we work to adapt and care for our families in light of growing concerns of the Coronavirus. Our team is adapting, too: working alongside candidates all across the state to bring accurate information to citizens, advocating for federal policies to protect our health, and calling out our leaders when they fail us. But we need your support to keep going.
