Dear VCC Community,

I was re-reading the Victoria Declaration written by Dr. Chris Shaw, myself and some others back in 2023. Our words ring even more true today. 

HUMANITY IS ON A PRECIPICE

There is little argument that governments globally are exceeding their delegated authority. To permit this unfettered abuse of power is to risk losing the natural rights and freedoms that are the heritage of all people and the foundation of free and just societies. History shows that humanity has often been exploited by the machinations of tyrants, opportunists, oligarchs, and oppressors. History further reveals that rights and freedoms are never returned willingly. Rather, it is the oppressed themselves who ultimately reclaim and preserve human rights that benefit humanity. 

One of the consequences of tyranny is that we individually and collectively affirm what we are willing to accept from those to whom we delegate power. Tyranny also clarifies what we are willing to fight for and perhaps even die for. It is the duty of every human to ensure that fundamental human rights are upheld. The consequence of failing to stand up and curtail tyranny is to risk losing all that we hold precious and to condemn future generations to lives of servitude. 

When I reflect on these words and also the opinion of Psychologist Stanley Milgram that 80% of the human population do not have the psychological or moral resources to defy authority’s order, no matter how illegitimate the order is, I am even more certain of how important our work is at this time.  In the words of Vision 2045 - "This is the decisive decade in the history of humanity. We who are here now have a responsibility that no future generations will have.”

My gratitude to all of you for honoring this responsibility.  You are courageous and moral souls.  The future of humanity is in our hands.

Of all the tools to reclaiming peace, scheduling worry time is one of the simplest and yet powerful. All of us worry. Most people worry far too much. I have discovered that scheduling my worry time increases my peace and joy. The intention of this tool is to reduce the amount of time you spend worrying, as well as increase the efficiency of your worry. Research indicates most worry involves the same thoughts over and over again. 

The first step is to decide how long you wish to worry each day. Ten to fifteen minutes daily is usually plenty of time. Then decide when and where you will worry. It is important that you select a specific time and place to do your worrying. You implement this strategy in the following way: At the start of your day remind yourself of your worry time and place.

For example, I remind myself: “Today I will worry between 7:00 and 7:15 pm sitting in the red chair in the living room.”

Then as you go about your day, notice if you are worrying outside of your scheduled worry time. Whenever this happens gently remind yourself of your worry time and place. Your mind will release the worry thought and become quiet again. Later, if you again notice yourself worrying, again remind yourself of your scheduled worry time. Then, at the appointed time, sit in your worry place and commence to worry for the period you have agreed. As the days progress the amount of worrying outside of your scheduled time will diminish. After using this tool for just one week your mind will become quieter and you will be more peaceful.

Worry is interest paid on trouble before it becomes due.

The mainstream media and pro-vaccine advocates in public health and government would have you believe we are at serious risk of a measles epidemic as a result of “vaccine hesitancy”. There is no doubt there is a significant increase in parents questioning the vaccine narrative.

Recent polls reveal that 1 in 6 parents say they are “really against” vaccinating their children, a four-fold increase from 2019.
