Dear Neighbor,

There’s been a lot of news coming out of Washington lately, and I wanted to take a minute to share some of what I’ve been working on for our district, as well as a few other updates.

Join me this Thursday, March 21 at 5:00pm PT for my next telephone town hall. I always say Representative is more than my job title. It’s my job description, too. I appreciate every opportunity I have to hear from you, so I look forward to answering your questions and hearing your concerns.

Just pick up when I call on Thursday or you can dial-in to: (833) 305-1722

Do you plan on joining Rep. Levin's telephone town hall?

Delivering for Our District

I’m excited to share that I recently secured over $17.7 million in federal funding for 15 projects across our district! These projects will improve our quality-of-life, upgrade our infrastructure, and make our community safer.

Fighting for Border Security

There is no question that we have challenges at the border and a broken immigration system. It’s also clear that in a divided Congress, any border security legislation must be bipartisan. That’s why last week, I helped launch the new Democrats for Border Security Task Force.

Our goal is to bring together House Democrats to work with Republicans to devise pragmatic solutions to our border and immigration challenges. It’s incredibly disappointing to see that some extreme, conservative Members of Congress would rather score political points during an election year by blocking any bill to solve these problems rather than work together to enact meaningful change.

I am proud to be a part of the Task Force, and I am ready to get to work.

Serving Our Veterans

Last week, I had the tremendous honor of receiving the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) 2024 Congressional Award for Legislator of the Year for my bipartisan work to support veterans, service members, their families, and survivors.

This award is only given to one member of the House or Senate every year, and past recipients include giants like Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Sen. Bob Dole (R-KS), Rep. G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery (D-MS), Sen. Daniel K. Inouye (D-HI), and Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), among many others.

I was both honored and humbled to receive this award. We have a responsibility to care for our nation’s heroes, and we owe them an enormous debt of gratitude. Their service is what inspires me every day.
