Friend, California Environmental Voters is holding our annual social event in May to honor climate champions — and you’re invited!

The Badass in Green Awards, on May 31 in person in Culver City, recognizes the achievements of innovators and leaders in the climate justice movement. It’s a chance for environmental activists from up and down the state and across the country to come together to celebrate the visionary, transformative, and, yes, badass heroes leading this movement and plan for the future (and perhaps have a glass of wine or two).

This year we are so excited to honor champions in the corporate and PAC space with our two honorees: Microsoft and Project Super Bloom PAC.

In addition to these honorees, we are excited to welcome California Senator Caroline Menjivar and Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas as speakers for our 2024 program!

This event isn’t just for elected officials and celebrities, friend — it’s open to anyone and everyone in the environmental community. (Psst: If you’re reading this email, that means you!)

So buy your ticket today to attend the Badass in Green Awards! Tickets start at $100 for adults, or get your VIP ticket for $250 to attend our pre-reception, with all funds supporting our nonprofit mission to advance bold climate action.

Microsoft's commitment to being carbon negative by 2030 exemplifies true climate leadership. Taking carbon neutrality a step further, Microsoft is leading the pack by actively removing the emissions from the atmosphere that the company has emitted since its founding. Its charge to fund removal technologies with the $1 billion Climate Innovation Fund sets a notable benchmark for world-wide corporate responsibility. Microsoft was also a vocal supporter of EnviroVoters’ sponsored bill SB 253, championing transparent and accountable corporate behavior in combating climate change.

Project Super Bloom is California’s only PAC founded and led by young people and students, dedicated to electing progressive and visionary candidates to CA’s state legislature. Its disruptive methods to elect progressive climate champions, including most recently Caroline Menjivar in the State Senate, and its commitment to saving the planet have made clear what’s possible with courageous leadership. Its innovative approach successfully mobilizes high school and college students through paid opportunities and removes barriers to access and participation in the political process.

Purchase your General Admission ticket now for $100 — or a VIP ticket for $250 to attend our pre-reception — and receive a second ticket for free to attend the 2023 Badass in Green Awards >> [link removed]
