This is big, John. I'm proud that my values-driven approach to politics has received such strong support to take down Van Drew in counties across the district. The work is far from over. Can you join Democrat organizations across the district in supporting our campaign to flip this seat?

These endorsements are pivotal, John. Democrats across South Jersey have to be united if we want to take down Jeff Van Drew's part-switching extremism this election, and I'm proud that these community leaders have selected me to lead this movement.

Over the next few months, we're going to continue covering the entire Congressional District – and my team and I intend to leave no stone unturned.

With two of the most critical counties in our district rallying around my campaign to defeat Van Drew, we'll be receiving significant institutional support from local parties to help grow our grassroots coalition, mobilize our base of supporters, and continue spreading our message.

My team and I are going to continue campaigning hard to earn votes all over New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District.

Tim Alexander is a civil rights attorney running to represent New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District.

As a New Jersey native, Tim enjoyed a long and distinguished career in law enforcement for the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office as a Detective Captain of the Criminal Investigation Section. After retiring from the Prosecutor’s Office, Tim immediately began working for the Philadelphia District Attorney as a member of the Philadelphia Youth Aid Panel. Later, Tim joined the Civil Rights Unit for the Philadelphia Solicitor’s Office. Eventually, Tim left public service and went into private practice handling civil litigation and currently is “Of Counsel” for Helmer, Conley & Kasselman, P.A. Tim continues to provide legal service in many aspects of law but concentrates his practice on Civil Rights and Employment Discrimination.

Tim was born and raised in Newark, NJ where his personal journey led him to public service. Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master's degree in business administration from Drexel University and a J.D. from Rutgers University.

Tim and his wife, Anna, live in Southern New Jersey.
