Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris visited an abortion clinic in Minnesota, a historic first for a Vice President, and declared that the lack of access to reproductive care has spiraled into a "health crisis."

In 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, leaving the right to abortion up to individual states and criminalizing health care providers who provided life-saving procedures. Since then, a MAGA Republican-led movement set a dangerous precedent further restricting women’s bodily autonomy. Like Vice President Harris said during her visit to the clinic – we have to be a nation that trusts women to make their own healthcare decisions.
