John — We’ll make this quick:

Our FEC fundraising deadline is coming up at midnight tonight and before we ask you to donate again, we wanted to pause and explain what this deadline means for our campaign to elect a Democratic Senate majority.

Here’s the truth: An overwhelming number of independent polls have put Democrats ahead or tied in enough states to take back the Senate. That’s great news — but it’s also why Mitch McConnell’s network of right-wing billionaire megadonors just bought $67 million worth of negative TV ads.

So, we’re organizing a counter-offensive to defend our Democratic candidates before McConnell’s super PAC undoes all of our hard work. But we’re projected to fall short of our fundraising goals before tonight's FEC deadline, which would be disastrous with so much on the line.

Make a contribution of $10 or more today to help our grassroots team defend our Democratic Senate candidates and defeat enough Republicans to take our government back in November:

All of our hard work in the last year is paying off and we’re in a stronger position than anyone thought to take back the Senate from Republicans, but we can’t give up any momentum in this election. We have to keep fighting back and supporting our Senate candidates.

Thanks in advance for stepping up.
