Dear John,

We are officially 12 days away from Trans Day of Visibility! In case you missed it, The National Center for Transgender Equality, in partnership with Trans Pageant USA and the Queer Equity Institute are hosting a joint rally and fundraiser for Trans Day of Visibility. And we are looking for volunteers who can help make our two-part festivities a success!!

Volunteers can sign up to volunteer for one or both events, and shifts are 2 hours long. If you are interested in volunteering, please check out this form to sign up! Volunteers will be required to attend a virtual orientation several days before the event to go over logistics.

And even if you can't volunteer with us, you’re still invited to our two upcoming TDOV events in Washington D.C.: Transform the Vote Rally and the Blossom Gala.

The TRANSform the Vote Rally, presented by the National Center for Transgender Equality in partnership with Queer Equity Institute, will take over the National Mall with joyous performances, inspiring speakers, and community engagement activities all about voter registration and building trans political power. Honored guests, performers, and speakers include the iconic Angelica Ross, Rep. Leigh Finke, and the Hon. Andrea Jenkins as well as representatives from DC organizations like HIPS and Trans-Latinx DMV. RSVP to the rally here!

Date and time: Sunday, 3/31, 11am - 3pm

Location: Jefferson St SW & 7th St SW

In the evening, we’ll celebrate at the first annual  Blossom Gala at Hook Hall.

Hosted by Trans USA National Pageantry and the National Center for Transgender Equality, this joyful celebration will include an all-trans drag showcase featuring internationally renowned entertainers as well as our favorite local legends. Get tickets here!

Date and time: Sunday, 3/31, 5pm - 10:30pm

Location: Hook Hall, 3400 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20010

We hope you’ll join us!
