We know anti-abortion extremists never planned to stop at overturning Roe v. Wade. We’ve already witnessed attacks on contraception here in Texas, and with the Alabama decision as precedent, IVF restrictions could be coming here next.
And Gov. Abbott has already stated that it’s up to the state legislature to protect access to IVF in Texas. But in the past year alone, we’ve seen extreme legislators ban abortion and Ken Paxton outright restrict access to life-saving care, putting a woman’s life at risk.
