As the president of EMILY’s List, I work tirelessly to elect leaders who will balance the voices of power in Washington and who will ignite change across the country.

 

Nancy Goroff is one of the women we MUST elect in November to achieve that goal. She’s a scientist and community advocate who’s challenging one of the most divisive members of Congress.

 

 

Lee Zeldin has failed working families, and he is one of the president’s most relentless defenders in Congress. But this district is in transition. Democratic registrations are growing faster here than Republican registrations, and Zeldin keeps moving to the far-right.

 

Zeldin has Trump, Pence, and special interest allies lined up to help him -- and they’ll do anything to keep this seat in Republican control.

NY-01 deserves a leader who will use her experience to solve complex problems, build consensus, and advocate for the people of Long Island. And our country needs her leadership, too. If elected, Nancy will be the first woman PhD scientist ever to serve in Congress.
