Take a Stand Against Diabetes

Diabetes can lead to other chronic conditions like kidney disease. This National Kidney Month, let’s work together to reduce diabetes-related complications.

We’re leading the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes.

March is National Kidney Month. Did you know diabetes is the leading cause of kidney disease?

Chronic kidney disease affects more than

1 in 7 American adults—

an estimated 35.5 million Americans

And every year, there are 61,522 new cases of end-stage kidney disease, with diabetes as the primary cause.

That’s why the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) is calling on you to join the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and diabetes-related complications—including chronic conditions, like kidney disease, that far too often accompany a diabetes diagnosis.

Friend, can we count on your donation to add your name to the fight?

A generous donation from you will:

  • Fund critical research to find a cure for diabetes

  • Provide resources to those at risk for or living with diabetes and their caregivers

  • Advocate for equitable access to health care and lifesaving resources

  • Spread awareness of the deadly consequences of diabetes and ways to reduce complications

We envision a world free from diabetes and all its burdens, and that includes diabetes-related complications like kidney disease. Your donation today will support research, advocacy, programs, and other critical resources to combat this condition. Give now and make an immediate difference in the lives of millions.
