The Senate recently passed my legislation that safeguards our veterans'
Second Amendment rights from the heavy-handed bureaucrats in Washington.

We are as serious about our freedoms as the business end of a .45.
It's about time we put a stop to unelected officials stripping away Americans'
freedoms.
That's why it's essential to stand up for our veterans, who have sacrificed
so much to defend our country.
Right now, there's a rule that lets the federal government deny a perfectly
healthy veteran his or her right to a firearm. They do this simply because the
veteran has someone helping them manage their VA benefits.It's WRONG — it can
stop veterans from being able to buy firearms…
My legislation goes a long way to fix that and returns 2nd Amendment rights to
so many of our proud Veterans.
That's how it should be - protecting due process and preserving our Second
Amendment rights.
Our veterans have sacrificed so much protecting our freedoms, it's only
fitting that we fight for them in return, wouldn't you agree, %%FIRST%%?
