Last month, the Alabama Supreme Court effectively outlawed In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) when it ruled that embryos in test tubes should be considered children. Shortly after, at least three Alabama medical facilities halted IVF treatments.
Since then, Lori and Democrats in Congress have rallied to protect this vital procedure that gives hope and options to individuals and couples struggling with infertility. But despite insisting that they support IVF, Senate Republicans have blocked a second bill that would have expanded access to the treatment.

Team, it’s clear that the GOP is trying to deceive the American public – just like they tried to do with Roe . We didn’t believe them then, and we don’t believe them now.
The ONLY way we can guarantee federal protection for IVF is by sending President Biden a Democratic Congress this November. To do that, we need to ensure the House flips blue. And with control of the chamber likely coming down to a handful of seats once again, every district is a must-win.
