Angus King

Can we tell you a secret, John? Angus enjoys most parts of being a Senator: representing the state he loves, fixing pressing issues facing Maine and the country, and finding common ground that brings us together. Plus, every day he gets to drive around the most beautiful state in the country! It’s not a bad gig.

But truth be told, the part of the job Angus does not enjoy is having to ask hard-working folks like you to donate to his campaign. Serving the community is his full-time job, so asking for your $10 contribution is the last thing on his mind. That’s understandable (I mean, truly, who likes asking people for money??) but it’s also why we’re reaching out, John.

Here’s the deal: Angus’ first FEC End-of-Quarter Fundraising Deadline of 2024 is this month, and we need to raise $10K to show that the people of Maine stand firmly with the Senator this election year! Can you chip in $10 today to help keep Angus on the road meeting Maine folks instead of writing emails like these?

DONATE $10

John, when Angus hits the road, he isn’t just heading “upta camp” — he’s out to meet Maine folks in their communities, whether that’s at any of Maine’s RV parks or just along Main Street (except in Brunswick, where it’s Maine Street with an “e”).

For us, it’s a constant balancing act: it’s our job to make sure he raises the resources needed to win re-election this November, but Angus really just wants to be doing the job Maine hired him to do. To keep fundraising time to a minimum next month, we need to hit our March 31 $10K goal.

Let’s let Angus do what he does best while we handle the rest — how does that sound, John? You can chip in $10 here! >>

Thanks, and see you on the road!

– Team King

There is nothing more important to Senator King than doing right by the people of Maine. This means fighting on their behalf for the issues that matter most, whether that’s health care, national security, veterans, education, economic certainty, the environment or job creation. Throughout his decades of public service, he has worked tirelessly to build relationships and improve opportunities for all Maine people, from Kittery to Fort Kent.
