Today is Primary Election Day in Ohio, which means we’ll soon learn who our Republican opponent will be. Before that, though, I wanted to remind you what we’re up against.

Over the past few months, my team has kept you updated on how this race is already shaping up to be one of the most competitive in the country.

→ National Republicans have added me to their list of top targets for this November.

→ Jim Jordan has endorsed one of my primary opponents.

→ And multiple election forecasters have named this seat a pure TOSS-UP.

So let me be clear about one thing: Whoever wins this primary will be the recipient of hordes of outside cash from Republican mega donors and super PACs.

That means the fight to defend OH-13 is only just getting started.

I’m proud to run a grassroots campaign, John — but unlike my opponents, that means I rely on supporters like you rather than deep-pocketed special interest groups.
