Happy 95th birthday, Jack Miller!
Today, we honor our founder and chairman—an entrepreneurial icon, visionary philanthropist, and embodiment of the American dream.
This milestone in Jack's life also brings a new chapter for the Jack Miller Center. Today, on his 95th birthday, Jack is retiring as chairman of the Jack Miller Center's Board of Directors.
In Jack's words, "I am stepping down with great confidence that The Jack Miller Center is in very good hands and at the cusp of being an even more powerful force in getting the teaching of our founding principles and history back into our classrooms. I am confident that well into the future The Jack Miller Center, now in its 20th year, will be my legacy to our great country."
Jack will remain actively involved on the Board of Directors whilepassing the chairman's gavel to Michael Weiser—a dedicated JMC board member, a fervent advocate for American civic education, and a cherished friend of the Millers.
As Jack frequently reminds us, there is much work to be done.
