Subject Line: π Supporting LGBTQ+ Students: Take Action! π
Dear John,
Despite progress made over the years, the unfortunate reality remains: LGBTQ+ students still face harassment, discrimination, and stigma in schools. These ongoing attacks highlight the urgent need to take action.
This year, as we prepare for our annual Day of Silence, we're embracing a new approach. Instead of observing a silent protest, weβre Rising Up and Taking Action with our new Day of (NO) Silence.

Leading up to the Day of (No) Silence on April 12th, there are various ways you can take action:
πΉ Use Your Platform: Help spread students' voices and stories. Share their experiences and advocate for change on your social media channels.
πΉ Use Your Vote: Your vote can make a difference in shaping policies that support LGBTQ+ rights and create safer environments for students.
πΉ Use Your Time: Join a community event or chapter network near you. By actively participating in local initiatives, you can contribute to building inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ youth.
πΉ Use Your Resources: Donate to GLSEN. Your contribution can go a long way in protecting the rights of LGBTQ+ students in our nation's schools. Your support enables us to provide inclusive resources, programming, and materials that empower students to reach their full potential.

Our work to make schools safe and inclusive environments for all students never stops, but we couldnβt do it without your support.
Please consider a gift today to help expand messages of support to classrooms and communities across the country.
