Friend, I didn’t grow up with power or privilege.
I was born and raised in a working-class family in one of Brooklyn’s many diverse neighborhoods. Throughout my entire childhood and into my young adulthood, I had no real platform to voice my opinions or speak out against the decisions that were directly affecting me and my family.
So when I made history in 2018 by becoming the first Black lawmaker ever to serve as New York’s attorney general, I vowed that – no matter what – I would be a voice for the voiceless and speak for those who had been silenced for so long.
I’m proud to say that I’ve kept that promise – and this Priorities Survey is a key part of keeping it to this day.
So please, will you be one of the 5,000 people I need to take my March Priorities Survey before midnight tonight?

Friend, thanks to the valuable insight I've received from supporters like you, I've been able to prioritize the most urgent fights that have come up this year. I listened to people's top concerns and devoted myself to going toe-to-toe with anti-abortion extremists, taking on the gun lobby, and fighting against a record number of LGBTQ+ hate and discrimination efforts.
But as the political climate continues to shift and GOP extremists continue to sharpen their attacks, I need your input ASAP to know where to devote my time next.
I'm looking for at least 5,000 fearless fighters like you to update your top priorities with my team before midnight tonight. So please: Will you take 60 seconds now to share your top priorities with me and my team so I can continue to fight for the things that matter most to you?
Thank you for making your voice heard.
Letitia

With so many tough and crucial fights ahead, I am counting on people like you to fuel my fight for justice, progress, and true equality. Will you make a monthly donation to make sure I can continue using the full power of the Attorney General's office to make a difference for everyday people and families?
