John, unfortunately, I have some news to share that has become all too common in Oklahoma.
State legislators are now hunting women and their doctors , just for possessing emergency contraception.
The author of the bill had this to say about his intentions: “Good law, just law, terrorizes evildoers …”
Let's be clear: by "evildoers," he means women making personal health decisions.
Not only will possessing these medications be classified as drug trafficking , but women and their doctors would face murder convictions, time in prison, and even the death sentence. This isn’t about justice; it’s about control through fear.
The U.S. Supreme Court is on the brink of considering a case that will criminalize contraceptives at the national level . This fight isn’t just for Oklahomans—it’s a fight for every woman in the country.

Here is the hard truth for Oklahomans; the only way to restore women’s rights to seek reproductive healthcare is for me to win, so I can push to restore women’s rights at a national level.
I assure you - the state legislature isn’t going to do it. Neither will Gov. Stitt, or Stephanie Bice. They are happy to continue fighting to make Oklahoma the most regressive, pro-life state in the nation.
I’m unapologetic in my fight to secure women’s reproductive healthcare - personal health decisions should remain between women, their doctors, and those they love and trust.
Let’s get to work,
Madison Horn
