Submit your intentions Three Holy Masses, 7 Sorrows of the BVM,
March 20-22
Dear Friend,
If you haven’t submitted your
intentions for the Three Holy Masses that will be offered, beginning
tomorrow, March 20 invoking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin
Mary, please do so today. The Traditional Feast of the Seven Sorrows
of the Blessed Virgin Mary always is commemorated on the Friday of
Passion Week, just before Palm Sunday.
This is the only celebrated feast
day of the Blessed Virgin Mary during Lent this year. The Annunciation
of the Lord has been transferred to Monday, April 8 since the March 25
feast day occurs during Holy Week.
Join me in three days of prayers and please submit your
intentions to be included in Three Holy Masses, from March
20-22.
Some of us may be experiencing
great hardships during lent – suffering, which we did not expect. An
unexpected health crisis. Others may have financial burdens; the
constant increase in food, shelter and fuel, which can make it harder
for many to pay their bills. Or, some may be suffering due to a family
member or friend who has left the Church. So, please submit your intentions today.
May the Queen of Martyrs save us
and our loved ones by her prayers.
O Mary, consumed with grief and
filled with anguish, please comfort your afflicted children, who seek
your help.
Yours in the Sorrowful and
Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Thomas McKenna
