NeDNR's API has been updated and released to production.
The changes were the following:
DNR removed the following methods from our API:
- SurfaceWaterPointsModified
- SurfaceWaterBoundariesModified
- WellsModified
- DamsModified
DNR renamed the following column on our Surface Water API:
- IrrigationProject will now be CanalSystem
DNR added the following columns to our Surface Water API:
- FlowType
- PurposeOfUse
- IsIncidental
- IsSupplemental
- IsOffChannelStorage
- CountVolumetricGrant
- CountInstantaneousGrant
- ReservoirCapacity
DNR removed the following columns from our Surface Water API.
- Progrant
- Units
- GrantCounted
- RightUse
- UseCode
- UseDescription
- SendNotices
- UseTypeDescription
In previous versions of the surface water database, one field called ?ProGrant? was used for the amount of water a particular surface water permit was allowed to use. The field ?Units? specified whether the value in ?ProGrant? was either in cubic feet per second (CFS) or acre-feet (AF).
Since surface water permits could have grants in either one or both units it was decided to have separate fields for each of the different grants.
Instantaneous Grant ? Measured in CFS.
Count Instantaneous Grant ? Determines when the grant is counted in overall water use.
Volumetric Grant ? Measured in AF.
Count Volumetric Grant ? Determines when the grant is counted in overall water use.
Reservoir Capacity ? Amount in AF that a permitted reservoir can store.
