Hi John,
Donna Imam, a 2020 Freethought Equality Fund endorsed candidate just advanced to the Texas runoff election — now postponed from May to July 14. A shorter general election means she needs your help now to be in a strong position to take on the 9-term Trump endorsed GOP incumbent.
The current COVID-19 pandemic has shown us how quickly our healthcare system can be overwhelmed. Donna’s signature Healthcare for All proposal, which she launched last July, emphasized scaling our healthcare infrastructure to address these types of challenges.
Donna Imam is an electrical and computer engineer running for US Congress in the North Austin suburbs — Williamson and Bell Counties — TX31. In her 18+ yr career she has led large product lines from business class notebooks used by tens of millions worldwide, to microprocessors found in virtually everything from washing machines to commercial jets. Donna is an active volunteer in her community, having served as president of a 4000+ member nonprofit that provides free training and education.
Donna has been endorsed by two of her former primary candidates, and with their support she has united Democrats in her district with a message of healthcare, education, and high wage jobs. She has shown that she can run a strategic data-driven campaign to win this November.
Thank you for your membership and support!
Sincerely,
Ron Millar
PAC Coordinator
