You can strike another blow against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s carbon tax.

The federal Conservatives are forcing votes in the House of Commons this week to stop Trudeau’s April 1 carbon tax hike.

For those votes to be successful, you’ll need MPs from other parties, like the New Democrats, to vote to stop the carbon tax hike.

Your pressure can help push NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh to do the right thing.

Singh and his NDP already voted to remove the carbon tax from everyone’s home heating bills and to remove the carbon tax from all farm fuels. They’ve also introduced a motion to remove the GST from home heating bills.

Right now, Singh won’t say if the NDP will vote against Trudeau’s carbon tax hike. But your pressure will show Singh that Canadians are watching and expect the NDP to oppose the hike.

We know Singh has supported the Trudeau government. But polls show Canadians oppose the carbon tax hike and this is an opportunity for the NDP to stand up to the Liberals. The NDP has voted the right way on the carbon tax in the past and it can do it again.
