Aging Policy Wins on Capitol Hill

Thousands of members of the NCOA community contacted their members of Congress, urging support for funding that helps older adults afford their Medicare costs. That hard work paid off! Congress included $62.5 million for these Medicare programs through the end of 2024. On top of that, the Biden administration's budget seeks needed funding for initiatives that would improve the health and economic security of older adults.

The Direct Care Workforce Strategies Center is hosting virtual "office hours" on Thursday, March 21, at 1 p.m. ET. Grant Opportunity: Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) Support

In 2024, NCOA aims to serve over 4,000 disadvantaged seniors in partnership with sub-grantees across several states and territories. NCOA is soliciting proposals from qualified organization who can achieve that goal. Learn more about the grant requirements and apply.
