After a years-long effort, I’m thrilled to announce that we received the procurement funding necessary to save thousands of jobs at the Ridley Park Boeing plant!

The Army’s renewed commitment to manufacturing Chinooks in Delco means that good-paying union jobs will stay in SE Pennsylvania. For decades, Chinook production has been a crucial regional economic engine, with multiple generations of families working at the Ridley Park facility. With our work that tradition will continue.

I’ve worked to find a path forward for the Chinook contract since the day I arrived in Congress, and I’m proud to deliver job stability for the men and women of UAW 1069. Manufacturing and production are the bedrock of a strong labor community in PA and I will continue to fight to keep union jobs right here.
