3 years ago, the expanded Child Tax Credit was passed for millions of working families – cutting child poverty nearly in half. Now, Republicans in Congress have allowed this benefit to expire.

JOHN, let’s get this straight: no child in this country should ever have to go hungry. This relief served as a lifeline for so many families, helping them afford things like rent, food, childcare, and other daily essentials.

The Child Tax Credit expansion should have never expired, and now we need to fight to restore it. I voted to bring back the enhanced CTC and am fighting every day to make sure our government puts kids first, but I need you by my side.

Right now, we are in the midst of a critical election cycle, and have an opportunity in front of us to come together and elect leadership ready to put progress first. Can you chip in anything you can to our grassroots efforts right away so I can keep fighting for our families and for real change in Congress?
